Should we apply to several banks in case we are declined on one or like the better offer andwant to go with them?

No, you should not apply with more than 1 bank at a time. We want you to speak with the banks that are recommended to ask questions and get an offer without allowing the banks to pull your credit. We will then assist you in comparing the offers you receive so you can choose a bank and then apply with just that specific bank. Before you apply, you will be able to determine the terms of the different programs offered.
